Can I refuse dangerous work?

You can refuse to use machinery or equipment that poses a hazard to yourself or others.

You can also refuse to do work where a condition exists that poses a hazard to your or others.

However, you have an obligation to report the hazard to your supervisor, who will investigate and remove it.
