How does an Occupational Health and Safety appeal work?

Alright, you have a problem with one of our decisions and have delivered your written appeal to the director of Occupational Health and Safety.

Now what?

Well, the board has 21 days to conduct an inquiry.

It will give everyone a chance to present evidence and it may hold a formal hearing.

If so, you will be invited to attend. So will the complainant, the director or their representative and anyone else the board wants to hear from.

After gathering all the relevant information, the board will consider the matter and make a decision.

That decision is final and binding.
