How long do I have to register?

If you have just hired a worker, you have 10 days to register and establish an account with the Yukon Workers' Compensation Health and Safety Board.

You must do this whether your workers are employed on a regular, casual or contract basis.

That will take care of the money matters, but there’s a whole other side to worker’s compensation. Take a little time to acquaint yourself with your duties as an employer with the links on the right.

If you have any questions, we’re happy to answer them.
