How long does it take for a decision on coverage outside of Yukon?

It takes YWCHSB anywhere from 5 to 30 calendar days to make a decision after receiving an Application for Coverage Outside.

To be considered, the application must include documentation from the jurisdiction in which an employer plans to operate, stating that coverage is not available there. So keep in mind that it will take additional time to research the legal requirements of that jurisdiction.

For more information, please refer to policy EA-14, “Coverage for Workers Outside Yukon.”
