Employer Payroll Revisions

When an employer’s actual payroll is determined to be more than 125% of the estimated payroll declared on the Employer’s Payroll Report, the employer will be subject to a penalty and an interest charge on the amount of payroll above 125% of the estimate.

To avoid this potential penalty, submit your payroll changes by September 30, 2017 to:

Fax:(867) 393-6279

Mail:Yukon Workers’ Compensation Health and Safety Board
401 Strickland St.
Whitehorse, YT

If you prefer, you may contact your Employer Services Officer at 867-456-5539 or toll free at 1-800-661-0443.

Include earnings for employees, non-registered subcontractors and casual labour in your revised payroll statement. Do not include earnings for sole proprietors and dividend amounts. The 2017 maximum assessable earnings are $85,601 per worker.
