If I should have hand sanitizer or a protective mask for my particular situation, who pays for that?
If a Hazard Assessment determines that you should use hand sanitizer (for example, a cashier who cannot regularly wash with soap and water after contact), or a protective mask (for example, a health care worker treating infected patients), then the employer must provide and pay for that.
