Claims Appeals
Employers should let us know right away if they believe that a worker's claim should not be accepted (e.g., if they have reason to believe that the injury didn't actually happen at work).
Employers also have the right to appeal a decision regarding a worker's claim. For further information, contact the Appeals Assistant.

Assessment Appeals
If you believe that YWCHSB has placed your business into an industry group where it does not belong, or have other concerns about how your assessment rates are calculated, please contact the Director of Assessments.
After that, if you are still not satisfied, you may appeal to the Board of Directors:

If you believe that an OH&S order was issued to you incorrectly, or have any other concerns related to OH&S enforcement, please contact the Director of Occupational Health and Safety.
